Write. Wrap. Wipe. Repeat.

Wraptag is an inkless food label on a silicone strap. Write the contents and date with its magnetic stylus, wrap it around any container, and wipe it clean when the food’s gone. No marker. No stickers. No batteries.

A label with moving parts, not consumables.

1Write

The magnetic stylus pulls particles to the surface — no ink to dry out, nothing to smudge in the fridge. Works with wet hands.

2Wrap

The silicone strap stretches around any container you already own — round jars, square tubs, tall bottles, even the pot itself.

3Wipe

Slide the eraser once and it’s blank again. Thousands of rewrites, zero waste — and no batteries, ever.

You’ve tried the marker.

Every kitchen has a labeling graveyard: a dried-out wet-erase pen, a half-used sheet of stickers, a roll of masking tape. They all fail the same way — they’re consumables pretending to be tools.

The usual suspects

  • Wet-erase markers dry out, smudge in the fridge, and stain the lid for good.
  • Sticker labels peel at the corners, leave residue, and go in the trash — 96 at a time.
  • Chalk pens need the right surface; glass jars and curved tubs aren’t it.
  • Masking tape. Enough said.

Wraptag

  • Magnetic particles instead of ink — nothing dries out, nothing smudges, cold and condensation don’t matter.
  • Nothing sticks to your containers and nothing peels off them. The strap holds on any shape.
  • One swipe erases it. Rewrite it thousands of times over years.
  • The label stays with the container — from freezer to fridge to lunch bag.

Fair questions

Can it go in the dishwasher?

The silicone strap: yes. The tag itself is splash-proof and wipes clean with a damp cloth, but it shouldn’t go through a wash cycle — one twist releases it from the strap first. Takes two seconds.

Does the writing fade in the fridge or freezer?

No. The writing is held magnetically, not chemically — it stays exactly as you wrote it until you slide the eraser, in the fridge, in the freezer, for weeks.

What if I lose the stylus?

The stylus clips onto the strap so it lives with the tag. Any magnetic stylus works as a replacement, and spares will be available at launch.

When does it ship, and when am I charged?

Wraptag is planned for early 2027. Pre-ordering today costs nothing — you’re reserving a pack and we’ll email you once when it’s ready to order. If we don’t reach production, you’ll never be charged a cent.
